You will hear Stereo (stereophonic) sound through your IQbuds2 Max (from your IQstream TV) as long as your Home Theatre system is outputting a Stereo Signal. 

If the Media Source is being outputted in Mono (Monaural) Sound then the buds will produce sound in Mono Sound.
