PC not recognising IQbuds as an audio device (Windows 10)
IQbuds and IQbuds Boost are compatible with Bluetooth 4.2 and above. Please make sure that your machine has compatible Bluetooth
You will need to check your speaker settings This can be done by right-clicking the speaker icon in the notification of the Windows and select Playback devices. Please make sure that the IQbuds are selected, and not another speaker device.
It is also possible that you may need to update the drivers on your machine. Instructions on how to do this are listed below:
- Select the Start button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
- Expand one of the categories to find the name of your device, then right-click (or tap and hold) it and select Update Driver. For Bluetooth Drivers, expand the Bluetooth category, right-click the Bluetooth part, and select Update Driver.
- Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
If you have Realtek HD Audio installed on your machine, it is possible that is accepting audio input from the wrong place.
