The Purpose of Locations

You access the Location Presets from the drop-down menu on the home screen. “Locations” are designed to allow you to store up to four of the 7 different preset locations with different hearing profiles for each. The purpose of this is to allow you to customize your hearing experience for different locations as they all have unique audio characteristics and may impact your hearing in different ways.

Customizing Location Settings

Locations come with default settings that are designed to give you the best listening experience in each of the 7 locations. World Off Mode is ALWAYS set to suppress background noise to the maximum for listening to music/audio from your device with little noise from the world around you. Everyone’s hearing is different so you can adjust the default settings to personalize each location for your hearing preference. The modifications will automatically be saved. To revert back to the default settings, simply tap on the reset icon in the upper right of the screen, which will revert all settings to the default.

Saving your Favourites

You can select up to 4 favourite locations by tapping the heart icon. You can also rearrange the order of locations by drag and dropping. Once your favourites are chosen, you can cycle through them from the earbuds with a long (2-second) tap to the right earbud. The locations will be announced as they switch.

NOTE: You can either tap the right earbud or tap the centre of the wheel on your home screen to go into World Off mode when you want to suppress background noise and listen to audio from your device.
